Regular price $ 5.00 Sale price $ 20.00

This story follows a battle between man and wolf.  It takes place in 1893 when the bounty hunter, Ernest Thompson Seton set out to New Mexico to hunt a wolf known as Lobo, also known as "King of the Currumpaw" by the locals.  Lobo had a legendary reputation as one of the most fearsome beasts in the Old West and had eluded trap after trap, prompting area residents to solicit assistance from the naturalist and animal trapper Seton.  Seton's expanded mission was to rid the area of the species altogether for the safety of neighboring residents. The story in the DVD documents this astonishing and disturbing story and reveals how Seton's wolf extermination inadvertently laid the groundwork for the wilderness preservation movement of the 20th and 21st centuries.
