About the Art
Our African painted dogs have become true artists! To create these extravagant works of art, our keepers help them out by adding small dabs of colorful, non-toxic paint to canvas. They then ask the canids to preform "paw", a trained behavior, to swipe the paint across the canvas. In return, the painted dogs receive a tasty treat!
Fun fact: The trained behavior "paw" can help our keepers while preforming veterinary exams and check-ups.
